I thought that jet-skying in Mackay was scary, but this one was 1 million times scarier just to read it!

Hey Guys!
Gee, what can I say? I guess its good Ma doesn’t do internet, I’m going to have to do some serious editing before I give her the rundown on this post! But Boet, you know Ma, she’s gonna want to know it. Anyway, you guys have done it. BLOODY WELL DONE, I must say! This is the stuff that not only makes riviting reading, but as you said, Mark, changes you forever. FOR THE BETTER, hopefully!
Now the next challenge lies ahead, the psych bit. I’m sure you are all well prepared for the months of ROWING, cabin fever, irritation from such a small circle of companions stuck together, and monotony of flat water. But things are going to, sometimes, just feel like its getting too much. that’s where the real adventure starts, the inner journey, (I’m no Khalil Gibran, but its true). Keep your MINDS occupied and give the jaw a bit of a rest. You don’t always have to entertain each other verbally, its OK to be quiet within your own world of thoughts.
Remember, what you guys are doing, is A HUGE THING, something we are all wanting to do, but YOU are the ones doing it! Think of this in those hours of doubt and uncertainty.
And now I’ll use the most quoted phrase on this site, WE ARE ALL BEHIND YOU, and I mean it from the bottom of my heart.

Not sure what to say……..WOW…………Nonny I love you and think about you every day and say a little prayer for the three of you. Nonny remeber last year when I was home for those two weeks? Well when I get scared and worry about you I remember the conversations we had and how those conversations apparently changed both our lives. You were not headed in the direction you are right now, and neiehter was I. I am so happy that you have found a place to be truly happy Nonny. I have never seem your smile so bright!! I love you and I hope that I can be at the finish line to see all three of you and buy you a proper meal and lots of beer and some new clothes!

I will be in London for your birthday Nonny so I will spread the word over there and see how far it gets!
