Mission 1: Complete

Yeeha!! The first leg is now done & dusted. We arrived in Pilpinto today, just after lunchtime. We cailloma are all a little worse for wear & tired – but still in one piece & spirits are high. The adventure has continued since our last post with lots of quirky twists & turns & just plain hard yakka!

We will fill you in on some of the specifics on the hike leg in a little while. At present we have a finite amount of internet time. But rest assured, the stories will be worth the wait…. The team is safe & sound & will be on the whitewater this Saturday….bring it on!

  21. Hi boys,

Another day in the making as the three of you continue to trek the great adventure of the Amazon. It is not just about the outcomes that we aim to achieve but each and every moment in getting there. No matter what you are faced with at any time in this adventure it is just another opportunity to move one step closer to the finish – its not in knowing our steps ahead but performing each one of them when we need to. You guys are an inspiration and men of great courage, just keep moving forward in Faith that you are always where you should be – the good Lord will take care of the rest. Remember Mark in the Gospels tells us to just believe and all things are possible, this is it. Nat, praying for your body my friend for total restoration and freedom of movement – no more pain. Also praying for a full refressment for you guys to be at your best when starting the white water.

Go in Gods’ speed, protection, peace and guidance, always listen to that inner voice my friends – don’t make decisions against what you feel – no matter what reason tells you – your gut knows what is best.

    Travel well,

    Mick
