ExplorersWeb.com!

ExplorersWebThe expedition has arrived (not literally!) Expedition Amazonas has appeared as the feature story on The Oceans, part of the highly respected ExplorersWeb group of sites.

ExplorersWeb is aimed to open up the most extreme parts of the world to all go-wishers. The site publishes independent, non-commercial guides and news on mountaineering, ocean sailing, polar treks and other upcoming fields.

Explorers with own, first hand experience operate the site. The ExplorersWeb team continuously searches the world for news and latest technology in the fields published. The technology research emphasizes useful communication and adventure aids, independent of sponsor brands.

I must admit I am absoloutely stoked that the expedition has been featured by ExplorersWeb. I have managed to while away many hours scouring their sites for the most up to date, accurate information on most expeditions happening around the world.  It surely must rate among my favourite sites on the web.

The ExplorersWeb team also run probably the best online store for the supply of expedition technology, from satellite phones and software to modems and digital cameras.  All the tech gear an expedition needs can be found at humanedgetech.com.
